La Coupole

Sunday brunch at Sofitel is an indulgent treat.  $60++ per person including freeflow of champagne ($45++ without).

The food quality and variety is stunning.  Fresh seafood, fois gras, parma ham, huge selection of cheeses, made to order bbq station, noodles and pastas (cooked fresh).  Everything is of excellent quality.  Having tried all three of the 5* hotel brunches, this is by far the best for the food and I would even rate it above most of the Sunday brunches in Singapore.

Atmosphere is very pleasant in the beautiful dining room of La Coupole, although the view from the Sofitel is rather lacking unfortunately.  

Service cannot be faulted.

The only downside is the children's area.  They have an area set aside within the restaurant, but without any toys!  Rather bizarely, there was also a trolly full of wine glasses positioned just next to the area just waiting for some little hands to pull it over.  Children's area is very important for those of us with kids.  It means that we can leave them to entertain themselves whilst we indulge.  The lack of toys meant that one of us had to entertain.  This needs sorting!  Intercon has a far superior set up for kids.
